Groups Definition and Identification Method
A. True Positives All deceased individuals who were identified as deceased in a source. A valid death date was found in both the source and the NDI.
B. False Positives All living individuals who were identified as deceased in a source. They have a death date in the source but not in the NDI.
C. False Negatives All deceased individuals who were identified as alive in a source. They have a death date in the NDI but not in the source.
D. True Negatives All living individuals who were identified as living in a source. They do not have a death date in the NDI nor in the source.
